Half Off Colorado Ski Vacations Just Announced

This sport of skiing is innately socially distanced. After all, it’s done in the open air, and this year, ski resorts around the United States are creating new protocols, such as limits on the numbers of people on each lift, designed to keep people safer.

We’re expecting better deals on lift tickets this season than we’ve seen in years, and foremost among the discounts so far is an offer from the 11 Gems resorts of Colorado. This consortium includes such lesser-known, affordable, but still challenging resorts, as Arapahoe Basin, Granby Ranch, Copper Mountain, and 7 others.

This year, the group’s Gems Card, which costs $35, will give two-for-one-skiing to couples as well as 30% off lift passes to solo schussers.

Since these resorts are already less expensive than the such big names as Vail and Aspen, this means a ski vacation this year could be quite affordable.

The holiday period (December 19–January 2, 2021) is blacked out, but for the rest of the season, these steep savings will be in play.
